Miach had been on his own for what seemed like an eternity. At times he missed his family and regretted leaving with Aby. It'd been like heaven at first - they'd had an island to themselves and he'd gotten to live a carefree life without pack duties, training to attend to, or annoying siblings or cousins. Then it'd turned into his definition of a living hell. He hadn't expected to meet Aby's family and her description of them was a complete understatement. After being attacked by miss fatass and threatened to be thrown of a cliff he'd fled the moment he saw an opportunity. As a pup at that time there was nothing he could have done to fend off so many possible attackers, especially with fatty practically sitting on him. He was glad to be away from the crazies.

Now he was unsure of how to get home. Did he even want to go home? He did sort of miss his family even though he viewed them as rather weak and annoying, but he hated feeling lost and helpless. It made him angry. He deserved so much better than wandering around like some pathetic loner. What if he'd stayed in Lirim with his family? Would he have a rank right now? Would he know how to fight properly? Most of the things he'd picked up were measly little tricks while trying to take down prey bigger than a rabbit. The tangle he had with a porcupine was proof enough that he could at least fend for himself, but he wanted to do more than survive. He wanted to thrive and be important. He wanted power, he wanted control, and more than anything he wanted off this god damned southern continent.

His fur was a mess as he padded towards the falls. He hadn't bothered to clean himself lately if the dirt and debris was anything to go by. He was tired and ready to find a spot to wash off and then go to sleep. He barely noticed the scent of a wolf nearby and was content to ignore it as he headed towards the pool. The russet colored yearling paused by the water's edge as he stared into it's crystalline depths for a brief moment to glance at his reflection. What he saw disgusted him. yeah he was a mess when he should have looked like a king. At least if Aby were around he would have had a reason to clean himself off much earlier than now.
