Mortar stood silently as he waited on edge. His muscles felt tense as he waited for someone to answer, but he was met with only silence. He would have believed that there really was no one there except the newer masculine scent told him otherwise. There was somewhere there - he was sure of that. It probably would have been best for him to walk away, but he'd shut down that part of his brain for the time being. Curiosity had definitely won out. Fortunately (or unfortunately, that had yet to be decided) he didn't have to wait until too much longer before a mostly pale colored wolf with a few markings caught his attention. He studied the smaller male for a brief moment before taking a hesitant step backwards. His trust for others still wasn't very high and after the few encounters he'd had with some less than savory individuals he found it was best to keep his distance. "I don't really live anywhere at the moment? What about you?" he returned the question still feeling slightly on edge. It bothered him that he hadn't had a place to call home in a while either, but at least he had someone to travel with. Delaney had more more than perfect company. Walk, "Talk" Think |
