Mud still embedded itself in the fur surrounding his wide and defined paws, refusing to give up their new home ever since he stepped foot on the creek's shore. The beast walked now several yards out away from it, away from the thick cattail shrubs surrounding the water's edge and into the wild grass. While his eyes kept actively searching the thicker parts of the foliage, they also kept wandering over the wild fields of grass further away. He kept a predator's pace, somewhere between a trot and a walk, in an attempt to reserve stamina should the need to exert himself arise. He was a volatile weapon passively roaming out in the open, his taunting gaze searching endlessly for something to demand his attention whether it demanded his exertion or not.
A rare sight almost went unnoticed as the beast continued, flecks of bright pink barely noticeable through the keyhole windows the breeze made as it brushed through the cattails. Once his eyes found it, however, they did not deter from its uncanny image until she calmly walked out and unveiled herself willingly, much to his pleasure.
A smile crept across the savage's jaws as she revealed herself, his eyes unwavering as they devoured what appeared before him with a newfound hunger for what wonderment lied beneath a coat so extraordinary. The size of his teeth alone made it difficult for that smile to go unnoticed, especially when bordered by the dark tones of the behemoth's own coloration and those ominously colored, black gums.
As she spoke, his smile became more controlled and faded into a slanted smirk as he listened calmly, his black bordered ears perking forward to listen while mimicking a demon's horns. He paid attention wholly, with composure in the foreground of his thoughts while he focused on how he held himself and what lied beyond the words she chose. What else was there to this creature, and what was their strengths and weaknesses? He viewed his peers almost like the specimens a scientist might study, but with an eerily enthusiastic interest shown in practically all.
For now, he couldn't help but notice the inviting tones she chose to sing with and became captivated with her choice of wording. Her enticement made his blue eyes glint like shards of glass for half a moment before he came to a stop, distanced several feet in front of her. He had been searching for companionship, but did not expect in the slightest that his luck would bring him to the warm welcome of such an exotically entrancing woman. He suppressed a chuckle as he took a moment to break eye contact with her and reflect on this, before recomposing himself and rolling his shoulders back with a newfound confidence and lifted skull.
"Well..." Finally, his vocals released themselves from the barreled chamber of his chest with incredible depth for a man his age. Youth still held on to his voice undeniable, but his baritones were already well developed. They trailed off quietly before returning in a louder volume of certainty. "Looking for someone like you, I believe. Where am I?"
