She seemed incredibly amused that he had shown up, even more so when she realized that he was the alpha here. An amused grin began to spread across his lips, the male trying not to laugh as the realization kept hitting her. "Probably the last wolf you'd expect to be an alpha, huh?" An honest question. She probably didn't think much of him during their spar, the male having tripped up and costing him the fight, but ah well...mistakes happened. Green gaze glanced up at her before finding the bird again as it squawked and flailed, his curiosity drawn to the weird bug eyed looking bird as he wondered why she had this thing pinned to the ground.

His attention returned to her when she began to speak, ears tilting forward as the male stood a bit taller, clearly interested. When she finished her request, he thought for a moment. So, she wanted to explore his lands? He wasn't quite sure...He didn't know the Abraxas woman very well, and how did he know she wasn't trying to spy for someone else? He didn't want to deny her wishes if all she wanted to do was explore, and she was offering him a gift...but then the question was, what would he do with this thing? Was he supposed to eat it? The thought of having to pull it's feathers just to eat it wasn't very appealing, and on top of that he tried not to eat birds because of his mother's companion, but mostly because he hated getting a mouthful of feathers.

He didn't want to be rude, but maybe he just did that? "Eh, sorry...It's nothing against you personally, I've just got some trust issues when it comes to those I hardly know. But..." He glanced at Kimahri for a moment, thinking long and hard about what to do. If she had a mission from the Gods, who was he to deny her that? He himself had begun to think that Spirits and the like existed, but he was skeptical about that too. He didn't want to quite believe that such beings existed, especially since he couldn't see them or hear them...there was no proof that they were actually there. But maybe..."If you really want to explore my lands, then I'll be your escort. I'm already here, so we don't have to wait for someone else to show up."
