The sun was setting by the time Ashiel made it back to the canyon. He'd been out exploring, working at becoming more and more comfortable with being out on his own though he rarely wandered as far as his sister. Ashiel had been spending his long walks thinking, trying to figure out where he would fit in the family. Soon he'd be a year old and then what? He wanted to be more than just another fighter, more than just a cog in a machine but to do that he needed to step up his game. He already had plans to train with Malleus and his mother if she had the time be he also wondered if he should start battling the mortals of this land?Ashiel climbed higher until he could peer out at the sun setting over the ocean. |
