The grin on his face was contagious; Solveiga felt her own jaws parting in response, and she smiled back as he placed a kiss upon her cheek. He always knew exactly what to say. "You're such a charmer," the little maiden said with a playful wink. She was so in love. And it felt like her heart was growing even bigger, making room for even more love which she would give to the pups they would soon be welcoming into the world.
"We'll have to think of names," she whispered, as Regulus gently placed his paw on her belly. And the pups didn't stir just yet, but Solveiga knew if they were patient, they might feel movement of some kind. "Do you have any ideas yet?" she asked. Choosing names was just one of the many responsibilities they would soon have. But it was one of the least daunting responsibilities, so it was the one she decided to focus on for now.
