I'm Just Running From The Violence
He faltered for a moment mouthing the word ‘come’ before the pieces snapped into place and the yearling fell into action. He ran toward the larger male, eyes narrowed, ears pinned back, hackles raised and the thick hair of his neck on end from a distance of 7 feet as his powerful legs pushed him onward. His jaws parted in a ripping snarl, his lips curled back as far as they could go to protect the sensitive skin of his muzzle.
At two feet, closer than he had anticipated, he rose back, squaring his hips, his tail arched straight out like a rudder to keep his center of gravity aligned and outstretched his arms just enough that if he were successful, he would lock his wrists around the other man’s huge barrel of a neck just above his shoulders, hoping to use his strength and gravity to keep Acere on all fours. If his grip landed he would take another step inward with his right foot and use his arms to twist toward the left, hoping to push the larger male on his side. His jaws remained open, ready to clash with the male’s own sharp white teeth, his fangs aiming for the male’s sensitive nose, aiming where he thought he would cause the most damage.
