"Ty..." She spoke his name softly, a bit of disappointment in herself as he called her out. "It's about this?" She shook her head, turning her eyes away from him and to the floor. She fought back tears like a victorious warrior but that didn't mean her expression was holding up great.
"Torin." She said bluntly, not looking back into his eyes after what felt like an eternity though only a moment.
"Ty... Do you even know what love is?" She questioned him, a tilted chin still with that drained look, "That was not love, that was nothing." It was almost like she was a mother correcting her child... but also so much as a lover speaking truth.
She quietly took easy steps toward the giant before her, looked up at his dark emotions. She had to admit that even though she was depressed, she was glad she wasn't angry instead. But she saw something in him. She couldn't even tell what it was, she had never felt this way for another boy before. It was something more but she was blinded by the true feelings of her best friend beside her...
