After the multiple strange encounters with her niece, it was time to leave the forest for a little while. After all, there was a whole continent for her to explore once more. It had been some time since she'd seen it all, and she wanted to see it again. Distance made the heart grow fonder, right? Large paws thumped brazenly across the snow until she reached a strange sight. A massive crater in the earth, surrounded by slick ice. Narrowing her eyes at it for a moment, she wondered what could possibly emerge from the empty abyss beneath. If her brother were here, he might have gone charging over to see what was inside. He would also most likely tumble into it, never to be seen again. Which wasn't so different from reality, where he had disappeared entirely as well. The bastard. Now she had to deal with his wandering offspring, for some reason. Water spewed from it at an alarming velocity, the steaming spray catching the very ends of her whiskers despite her distance. Head rearing back, she took a few steps further away from the cursed hole in the ground. Gods above, what the fuck? |
