It was a mix of relief and sadness when she heard Alfred's howl. At least she knew he was here and okay, but the tone in his voice broke her heart. She hurried toward him and pressed her face into the fur on his neck as soon as she stopped at his side without a word. She would have to keep searching for Lionel and Heather and their father in a moment, but for now she was just happy to see one of her siblings. She felt guilty now for leaving Fiori at all. Would things have been any different if she had stayed? Could she have helped Heather in any way? "Do you know what happened?" she asked quietly as she pulled back to look at him with her ears flicked back against her skull. She didn't know that he had been gone as well so she was just left to assume that he had watched things crumble. Roza glanced up hopefully to see if Alfred's howl would have brought any of the rest of their family to them as well. Most of all she was worried about her father. After all the years he had put into this pack to just have it gone... She frowned and focused back in on Alfred. |
