He brushed against her, his heart drumming wildly in his chest and almost unable to keep himself from locking his limbs around her again. “Stay.” He said in a throaty whisper, both a command as her alpha and a request as her lover. He pulled away reluctantly, brushing his body against hers as much as he could before they parted entirely and he sauntered to the clear patch of ground he had chosen as his sleeping place. His golden eyes watched her intently, sparkling with a light that hadn’t been there previously.
