ooc: Dating this before she joins Dauntless
The north was now her home, the cold and the peacefulness is what she liked. A wolf born, built, and taught to survive by a trained Russian killer. Her father had loved her and she had loved to spend time with him, but she had separated because she wanted to make a name for herself and explore the world. She did miss some things about home including being surrounded by so many extended family members. She always had the company whether she wanted it or not. She had her male cousins to wrestle and spar with and even some bonding with her female cousins. Boris could even do as he pleased while her time was occupied. Now her and Boris were consistently together and they did make a wonderful team.
One of the things the two of them were highly successful with was hunting. She had learned so many new techniques from her leopard companion that expanded the way she hunted. She was successful whether she hunted alone or teamed up with her companion friend. Today the two of them had teamed up and decided to do a sort of ambush. Both being large creatures they aimed to take one deer each to ensure they had enough food. They would even store it if there was any leftovers. The had tracked down a small herd of deer not far from the frozen lake, had put forth there plan and taken one deer a piece.
From where they took down the deer they moved, Boris retreating into a large pine tree while Iolanta feasting at the base of that tree. It was a bloody mess after she dug into it and with the way the wind blew today it was sure to attract any nearby predators.
