here isn't where I wanna beep

The babies were no fun! They looked like weird worms, but really fat. Furry slugs. She didn't like them. She also didn't like that papa kept calling her "him". Couldn't he see that she wasn't a boy? Dumb papa. Of course, articulating her feelings was completely out of the question. It didn't make any sense, and she didn't want to explain it to anyone. 

It was freezing out here, but she didn't care. The snow was up by her shoulders, but she was digging a tunnel! Gonna find buried treasure! The deeper she went, the warmer it got. The harder it got to dig, too. Rude snow! Scraping her tiny claws against the hard packed drifts was showing little results. Not that such things were about to stop her, of course. Black tipped tail waving in the air like a flag, she was completely unaware of how unstealthy she was being. How were these tunnels supposed to be useful if everyone saw her digging them?
