Description of random event: A handful of characters come across an NPC in a bad situation; obviously ill and not doing well. Symptoms seen include the following:


two puncture wounds
difficulty breathing
vomiting and nausea
blurred vision
sweating and salivating
numbness in the face and limb
severe pain
drooping eyelids
low blood pressure
thirst
tiredness or muscle weakness

The NPC was bit by a rattlesnake and probably doesn't have long to live without some intervention.

Description of random event: Just when you think you can go on a cross-continent stroll in peace - Bandits! Three of the brutes have laid a carefully planned ambush on any hapless passersby and are bent on taking anything and everything they can from the poor souls!

Skill Point: Intellect
Location(s): Redbud Nook
Description of random event: A wandering trader is offering a few small accessories to anyone who can teach her an interesting new skill(unrelated to other skills). Items up for grabs include a few small necklaces, some bangles and bones used for piercings. She'll want the lesson to be an interesting one though!
