Oh Deer

He was bored. He felt like there was absolutely nothing to do here. Though perhaps it was a given considering he wasn't actively looking for things to do, and he tended to brush off whatever and whoever was trying to teach him shit. Maybe today he'd change that, if only for the day...maybe. It was then he heard a call for a hunt, and though he had never hunted on his own or wasn't really taught (since he had zoned out and didn't care for the last hunt session), he decided this might be a good opportunity to try. He had no idea what he wanted to do with his life yet, but he knew he had plenty of time to figure that out.
Abandoning his lounging, the boy headed towards the caller and when he arrived, saw the male he came to know as Mask. It was a strange name, though he was sure his own name might have been strange too. At first, he approached confidently, but as he got closer his steps became hesitant. Would he even allow him to try and hunt with him? He paused several feet away, suddenly unsure if he was welcome. He knew he wasn't the nicest or more pleasant to be around, so maybe..."I heard you call. Can I hunt with you?" Nobody else had shown up, and he had taken a while to get here. If Mask didn't want him to hunt with him, then he supposed he'd go and find something else to do.
