Blast from the past

He wandered like he always had. Though nowadays he didnt like moving to far from where he last saw Storm, but he needed fresh supplies. And he knew farther south there was a large water source. Water meant easy prey and lots of herbs.
He didn't have a pack to feed him but he did consider joining with storms. Though he didnt want to rush. He'd never rushed anything in his life. Decisions should always be made after thinking everything through. He was not submissive in any way and deemed to never be. Though he could certainly see himself being a follower to some. Should they prove to be worthy of it that was. He was no spring chicken and had seen to much already. He sat at in the shade of a low hanging tree and watched the waterfront.
He'd been here for hours now. Waiting for the perfect opportunity. When lo and behold a spotted and dappled coat reveled something much less appetizing to him but more intriguing. He'd only ever saw such a pelt on one frostbite wreckage. His ears perks and he stood. His muddy pelt was well hidden in the shade but he gave up his surrise spot to move into the light. He gave a low bark to sound the male to notice him. And his approach came towards frosts side after he rounded a path. He gave a grin. The boy was all grown now and he wasn' sure how much he remembered. He' been there for a season after frosts birth it had never made himself truly scarce until frost was about a year old. He let frost take the lead in this iinteraction.
