An unfamiliar scent had caused the queen to rise from her resting place, maw reaching outwards, airways becoming streamlined as nostrils would quiver with dull interest. The freshly battle-marked youth had barely been in her new kingdom two days and already she had encountered a few stragglers; the dwindling scent of rogue hovering their tired bodies as they would ask cautiously for a place to stay, a home to flourish. Hell, the russet lady would give them one if they were sharp enough, if they seemed to have the mental capacity to not be a complete and utter nuisance. Physical abilities came second in most cases, but still they were important; it was only to be expected, the queen herself was a boasting image of prime-trained muscle, even with her scabbing battle wounds she maintained an icon of aptitude, of fitness.

The foolish stranger had crossed their borders, her pallid pelt barely visible against the snowy backdrop of Glaciem. It would be forgiven while the territory was still new; there were breaks in the borders where the fae and her brother hadn?t yet managed to mark. Though still, this new-comer would be treated with caution. As Eos neared, pelt bouncing atop russet leather as limbs carried her at an fervent trot, it became clear that the creature had for some reason or another, decided to bring her morning catch with her. Cute. Well, at least she could fish. Limbs would cease a wary distance from the creature, tail raised in a show of outward dominance as the hair over shoulders would thicken, prickling in defense. ?You?ve imprudently let yourself exceed our borders; I?ve no fortitude for fools. So, what is it that brings you? Quickly, before your fortune runs dry and my brother discovers your mistakes,? perhaps it was a light intimidation, a wavering suggestion that the fae hurried herself along. She had been lucky that morning, had it of been Syrinx to stumble upon her essence she probably would have been pinned to the soil by now with hot breath crawling down her collar.
