Mammon’s eyes widened as she watched the child crouch into the water. Still she kept her mask in place as she picked up her pace. The child didn’t seem to take her bait and instead cried in out in, well it wasn’t the common tongue that’s for sure. Damn that white bitch, she just had to raise them in a different language didn’t she! She kept her inner monologue from her face though. Still she knew they had had contact with their father, maybe the could understand her? ”Why don’t we play in the sand?” She suggested, indicating the safe, dry land around them. She still wasn’t too fond of the idea of scaring the kid by swooping in to pick her up but as the pup splashed in the shallows again there was a noticeable pick up in the speed of her approach.
