Her anger felt like it was all consuming but oh how easily it dissipated as she watched him stumble, her stomach felt like it was in free fall as she watched him stumble. Her face was a mask of panic as Levi struggled to even say her name and she watched in frozen horror as she watched a vision of her past played out before her. She could remember with vivid pain, the last time he had looked so weak, though her memory was blurred through her own tears.

She finally got control of her limbs and found she was rushing to his side. "Levi?" She cried, the terror in her voice genuine as she pressed up into him. "Levi, for fuck's sake, the fuck happened to you?" She craned her neck to look at his face, searching desperately for something, anything to tell her the man she loved was still in there somewhere, fighting to get to her. The acrid tang of blood was clear this up close and she felt her throat constrict. What exactly had happened to him?
