ooc: Any Abraxas are welcome though Ana is liable to be pissy so enter at your own risk. Dragon is probably gonna post first so I'd like everyone to give her the opportunity to before they post.
Also I super suck at birthing threads so I'm sorry if this is terrible.

She was fat and irritable and worst of all it'd taken her longer than she would have liked to find a suitable birthing den. A part of her missed the canyon that both of her siblings had birthed their litters in, but it didn't seem as though it was an option. Of course she could have decided that the pack lands that Amon had chosen for the empire were good enough, but the fact of the matter was that they weren't for her. She hadn't chosen the location and that was something that irked her. It wasn't as though she disliked the territories Amon had claimed - it just so happened that she was being unbelievably picky where she wanted to have her first legitimate litter. She'd settled on the falls in the end. It was still close enough to her family that she felt comfortable with and yet it gave her and her babies their own space once they were born. She'd managed to find a nice little nook at the base of the falls near one of the pools. It gave her a good water source and she could easily go hunt when she wished. Prey would come for a source of water after all so it gave her an easy food source. She'd been more than prepared with her choice of den, soft pelts lining her den, and the likes, but she still hadn't been prepared for the contractions. The pain that followed was more than enough to put her in possibly one of the worst moods she'd ever been in. It was probably best that she had no intention of Dragon being in their lives because the feelings she had about him right now were anything but good. In fact she was positive that, if it hadn't been for the pain of labor, she'd be trying to rip his head off right now if she saw him. It was hours later that she finally got the opportunity to rest. She was tired, and still rather irritable, and yet she felt an immense amount of joy as she stared at her three beautiful children. Godlings. True gods born from her very flesh and blood. They weren't adopted, weren't fake, and there was no denying their heritage. Perfect would have been the word to describe them but they had yet to be molded in such a way so she wouldn't yet call them that. Instead she couldn't help but admire them. All three of them favored their father, perhaps a bit too much, but she was pleased with them all the same. The male was large, impressive really, so maybe it was a good thing they took after Dragon. She hadn't been blessed with the height gene after all like the majority of her family had. The females seemed to take more after her in terms of looks. They were paler than Dragon with more dainty features and not nearly as large as their brother, but they were impressive in their own rights. She could raise them to be little copies of herself and they would be glorious. All of them would. Walk, "Talk" Think |
