THANK YOU SEREN ♥
The moon clung to the sky, obscured by the dense clouds that threatened to release their liquid prisoners at any given moment, causing an eerie glow to be cast upon what remained of a seemingly detonated wood. The strong aroma of smoke lingered in the atmosphere and a thinning cloud of ash accompanied its presence, causing the serpentine wraith to wheeze every so often to expel the debris that cluttered her throat upon inhaling. What attracted her to the forgotten forest that seemed to plead for resurrection, she knew not, but there was something about it that made her feel at ease ? at home. Alas, the conditions here were vile and, especially with her newborn whelps (now in the faithful paws of their sire), impossible to survive in ? but not to loiter. She heaved another guttural sigh, metallic depths peering through the opaque air as if searching for something of interest, but it did not escape the intelligent fiend that such an area was unaccommodating and that any life-forms that had ever resided here were now long gone with the forest that once flourished here.
