She snuck out of the den that held her mother and brother, looking back with a tucked tail and low head but was easily changed as she grew far enough away from her house and into the world. Well, the cave that is because she didn't know anything existed past the insides of the cavern. She padded along, just trotting around in the back with no real intention other than having the pleasure of not having an eye on her. It felt so great to not have any "no's" shouted to her or even have her brother by her side. He was fun to torment but he also stuck like glue where she wanted to feel independent. She knew there were other wolves in the pack but she had hardly met any of them. She was always cornered in the same places that her mother confined her too. She couldn't wait to find some place new. |
