Rainbow sherbert[4/5 open]
Name: Toulouse Emil Adravendi (To those closest to him; Tea)
Gender: Male
Design: Toulouse *
Appearance: 41 inches tall. 190 lbs. on healthiest days. For starters, a paintbrush is the tool of many artists to create masterpieces. Young Toulouse is no exception to that thought process, I mean extrapolating the visuals from the mother and father, it is not so much of a surprise that he is as alluring as he is. From head to toe, his base coat is a tan-cream. There's very little of this color showing, but what is showing does break up the brilliance of the rest of him. Like mother like son, he's got an array of colors; brick red, deep blue, sunset orange. The two dominating colors that stretch the expanse of his pelt is the brick red and the sunset orange. Both colors volley for the majority, stretching and receding, reaching and lingering. The dips formatted along his back, neck, stomach, and tail seem to stretch out like sun-rays, being the light of the life he lives. Of course that's for another time to express, there is a darkness to him, and it's the deep blue. From his paws to above his ankle, and an angled stripe lace around his brick-red legs. There is no blue on his face or neck, but the dip below his neck toward his shoulder blades starts reaching out in breaks from the middle of his shoulders down to the tip of his tail. In my mind, he's essentially the hot-rod of wolves, but that's for you to decide. Unlike his parents, Toulouse has bright sunshine-yellow eyes. It's as if his brightness radiates from the core of his own soul, and bursts forth for all to see. As a pup, this wolf is large and all limbs. When he grows up, Toulouse will be massive. At his tallest, full grown, he will be fourty-one inches tall, and at his optimum health he'll be roughly one-hundred ninety pounds. He will be lethally deadly, and laced with muscles, but it's not all about the looks. He's got a heart of gold. His colors leave it to the imagination, but perhaps his personality will sell you on this smooth ride.
Personality: - Note to all who are reading this: these are loose theories of how I predict Toulouse will act and be as he grows.
Hot-rod/hot-shot. As a pup, the boy will be a bit of a terror. Not because he is evil, oh no, because he is fearless. Fearless mainly because he's curious beyond recognition. There is no veil that covers the boys eyes, he is increasingly interested in everything that happens in his life and around him. His desire to know, his thirst to conquer life, to live to the fullest usually gets him into some trouble. Like a knight, he's ready to charge into any battle, almost completely unarmed if need be. He's the kind of wolf that'd jump into the water just to see how deep it could go, without much fear of sharp rocks at the bottom. He's quite the headstrong boy, but in a show-off/showboating way. He's rather enigmatic, and charming... to an extent.
Ego for DAYS. Toulouse has a confidence and self-recognition that far outreaches all others. He definitely thinks he's the bees knees, hot stuff, big man on campus, the most awesome thing ever. As an adult, he'll be quite the flirt, charming charisma, witty comebacks, he's got the whole package. Toulouse will be a bit conceited, who isn't? Eye-catching is a quality that has lead to this air about the boy, but he uses it more to his advantage than sometimes socially acceptable. Others may or may not be annoyed by his outbursts, but he rarely cares. A roll of the shoulders, and onto the next conquest, he's not a really picky man. There is a devilish air about his innocent ways, but in the end he's mainly a goofball.
Humorous. As stated earlier, Toulouse is a rather goofy individual. As a pup, his limbs were a constant source of laughter, his clumsy nature labeling him as a klutz and giving others a soft almost adoring chuckle. That was just the start, the gleam in his eyes, from that little inclination brought out the center of his personality; humor. From that first tumble he was hooked almost like an addict to others' amusement. Jokes, dances, singing in his god awful singing voice. Granted, the boy is talented, a rather harmonious baritone, but he's not used to singing in those fine timbers for just anyone. Any other time in life, where he finds the moment opportune, he tries to chortle to others in as many odd and far reaching voices he can touch. For him, it's the conversation starter, that or his fur, but let's be honest, he knows he's hot, but looks ain't everything.
Gentle Giant. Mostly unlike his brutish appearance, Toulouse is assumed to be a beast, a fighter, a brute. Of course that much is true, boys will be boys - to an extent. He's quite large, definitely a viable candidate for a soldier, a border patrol, a protector of sorts, but he is not exactly vicious. He's a flower-power kid, and definitely interested in plants and small animals (especially puppies.) Though his size makes him a formidable opponent, and probably the first path he'll choose in training, he is also determined to be kind, soft, and gentle to all around him. He's a lamb in wolfs' clothing, personified as a brutal force killer. He's very interested in pretty and soft things, being almost drawn toward taking time to "smell the roses," as some would say. He'd be a wonderful father some day, of course he acts like a child himself sometimes. He's not too interested in being the smartest man around, but he is rather determined to be a shield to those in need.
Protector. Due to his size and possible outlets, Toulouse is nothing without his duty. Even though he may or may not know of his mothers' rape, resulting in himself and his siblings, he is rather watchful over his family. All of them are under his wing, metaphorically of course, and he will do anything in his power to make sure that everyone close to him, that loves him, will be protected. Like a mother duck to her ducklings, he'll be viciously determined to ensure the safety of those around him, but there will be a defining moment in his separation from family, loved ones, or friends and those that are strangers. It's unlikely he'll let anyone get abused, but it is possible he'll intervene upon strangers only when there seems to be a definite need. For his family, he'll step in the moment something seems unfavorable; a wrong glance, a snide comment, a step in the wrong direction. Let's be honest, I wouldn't want to be between this man and his family, especially if that desire or intent is upon harm.
Plans: So, given the applications already - and not knowing his siblings, I can only speculate what can or will happen. From reading applications I can think of a few scenarios: first, if Montague is accepted, and being weak/vegetarian, Toulouse will of course tease and bully him (lets be honest, which kid would want their brat of a brother to rat them out every time they do something that mother isn't too fond of?) but he'll always have a soft spot for him. It's possible he'll do anything to make his sibling smile, and perhaps even go out of his way to ensure his happiness. As for Priscilla, I can see the two butting heads because they are so similar. Both wanting to be the protectors of their family, both being rather large obstacles to face. It's quite possible that they'll never really see eye to eye, but they will love one another, and grudgingly protect/help one another if they have to. I foresee Toulouse getting older and leaving the pack, traveling for a while, but he'll always keep in touch. The idea of being tied down, enlisted to protect a pack, would be rather constricting to his free-loving nature. I imagine him as more of a hippie or a gypsy. Kind of a humble traveler, but also sort of a renegade. I do plan to have a companion for Toulouse: spotted hyena.
RP Sample: Silence. The wind rustled the grass and caused the leaves to hiss. Birds peeked over their branches as a unique color moved below them. Fire burned a path under the brush, sunlight orbs scanned the small clearing. A scowl crossed the ebony lined lips and a huff escaped, "Vous trichez!" (You cheat!) The young pup let his head fall low and he swept the area again, ears rising and alert. There was a rustle, to his left, and a lopsided grin spread across his maw, and he lowered himself to the ground. Creeping forward, he came within a foot from the bush, his eyes were intense as he stared on, and he pressed himself forward. His paws carried him a decent way, until suddenly his face hit the ground. Tumbling over and over, he crashed into the bush causing a cascade of leaves to shake from their permanent roots. Instinctively, the boy let out mere whines, his whole body tangled up now in the branches. From the left of the boy, he heard a distinctive wheezing laughter, and he began to growl, "Arrête de te moquer de moi!" (Stop laughing at me!)
Poking through the leaves, a black nose touched his. Beady black eyes with a sheen from the cascading light were the only breaks in the blackness. Another round of laughter presented itself as sharp teeth gleamed from the deep ashy mouth, soft brown fluff spiked out all over the animals rounded ears and egg-shaped head, "Tu aurais dû regarder où tu allais, Toulouse. Ne me blâme pas de rire." (You should have looked where you were going, Toulouse. Do not blame me for laughing) The squeaky voice matched the hunched nature of this black and brown creature, but as it tilted its head, concern furrowed the brow, "Êtes-vous coincé?" (Are you stuck?) The young wolf snorted and gritted his teeth. He twisted and writhed, not bothering to answer this leech. Wiggling seemed to loosen him, just a little, with a burst of strength, the wobbly pup tried to roll his body. It worked a little too well, as branches broke, he crashed into the other and began laughing hysterically. Below him, the hyena yipped and yapped, wiggling to try to break free. Now with the upper hand, the boy began his assault.
His baby teeth dug into the wrinkly flesh of the other, his little claws trying to grab footholds wherever he could. Defeated, his pillow began to whine, and his voice wobbled from beneath the multi-hued pup, "ONCLE! ONCLE! Je donne, tu gagnes!" (UNCLE! UNCLE! I give, you win!) As Toulouse rolled off of his partner in crime, he rose and threw out his chest, proud of his accomplishment, "Arrête de truquer, je suis juste meilleur que toi." (Stop faking, I'm just better than you) Flattened on the ground, the other was still. For a moment, the prideful boy ignored the other, but as the silence deepened, his gaze drew down toward the dirt and his friend. Instantly, his features shifted, and the boy's eyes widened. His hair rose in fear as he launched toward the other, his voice strained and squeaky, "Enzo? Enzo! Enzo, s'il te plaît lève-toi!" (Enzo? Enzo! Enzo, please get up!) His body inches from the others' face, his eyes frenzied.
In a second the hyena had leaped, bowling over the wolf, and straddling him, sitting on his chest. His grin wide and wild as he stared back over his spine at the others' face. His dominance was reasserted, and Toulouse lay below, heaving in shock, fear, and surprise. "Attaque surprise! Maintenant, qui est le gagnant?" (surprise attack! now who is the winner?) Giggling, the two rolled in the dirt biting, play fighting, and pawing at their foe. At this young of an age, their play was almost as harmless as their bites. Of course, they'd ventured out of the area that Toulouse's mother could see them... Of course that was the last thing on the colorful boy's mind.
Can you buy the passes? Yes.
