Some tension melted away as Levi nuzzled into her, that was the man she knew, the man she loved. He responded Ave frowned, he didn't know? There was a familiar flair of irritation but this time she pushed it down. There'd be time to give him the third degree later, for now she had to make sure he just didn't fucking die! He pushed her away and she stumbled lightly back, a brief look of pain flashed across her face. Normally his coldness was hot, it drove her insane and it made her strive to be even better for him but right now all it did was make her stomach sink. Damn him! Why can't he just let me care for him for one fucking day? He asked about their den and she gently pushed into his form, willing him to let her support him at least. She nodded in the direction he was facing, it seemed he still had some of his wits about him. "Just through the foliage there." She reminded him, though her tone was lightly mocking. He wasn't totally off the hook, despite his state. |
