The Sun Won't Let You Sleep

Aw, crap. She noticed. Well, maybe that wasn't a bad thing. He had the sneaking suspicion that his siblings would ruin his masterpiece if given half the chance, but maybe this pup wouldn't. Maybe she was nice. He could hope, right?

"Oh, um..." Technically he was heading home, but he knew she wasn't asking about that. She'd pointed at his masterpiece. "I was just drawing in the snow. Thought it would be pretty."

He tilted his head to the side and eyed the girl curiously. She didn't seem all that happy to see him and he couldn't tell if it was because she was shy or grumpy. There was only one way to find out!
