Alena could only watch as the strange wolf before her hopped around and licked his chops. He was possibly the most peculiar creature she had ever seen. Not only was he one of the smallest, scrawniest wolves she had ever seen, but he appeared to be absolutely insane. Alena mentally dissected his behavior like she did anything else she came across, but was unable to figure out what was wrong with this brute. He seemed to laugh at nothing and found terrifying others fun. Her ear gave a twitch and a slight smile touched her lips. She thought scaring people like he had her actually seemed pretty amusing, but she pushed the thought aside. That was beside the point. At his oddly worded question she raised a brow curiously at him. Did he speak like that on purpose? Did he expect her to use the same tense he had? She wasn't sure how to approach interacting with this wolf. He was so unlike anything she had ever encountered. "I'm passing through, enjoying the scenery," she answered simply, not quite willing to play his games just yet. "What are you doing here? What is your name?" she asked in return, growing more and more curious of him by the minute. "Speech." |
