Ashiel saw the girls gaze grow distant and realized he'd probably used language a bit more advanced than she was used to. Truth be told he wasn't used to talking at pups at all but he supposed he ought to learn. It wouldn't be long and he'd be expected to have some of his own not to mention the likely hood of several younger cousins.

He supposed he really ought to get to know them better but there did come a point when the family seemed so large that it was almost overwhelming.
