The Sun Won't Let You Sleep

To say he didn't see it coming was an understatement. The way the girl had looked at his paws had him believing she was behaving shyly, so her sudden snap at his shoulder caught him completely off guard. The sting of hair being removed forcefully from his hide caused him to inadvertently cringe to his left. "Ow!" He scowled at her, ears slicking back. "Jerk!"

So that was how she wanted to play, huh? Well, two could play at that game. He could be a jerk too and if she didn't start acting nicer he was going to have to show her just how much of a jerk he could be.

Jupiter retaliated immediately. He reared up on his hind legs, lifted his forepaws off the ground, and with all the force he could muster, directed them to the girl's right shoulder in the hopes of knocking her to the ground. One way or the other he was going to get his revenge; even if he had to chase her down and make her eat snow, he was going to get even.
