Ashiel listened intently as Razi spoke. She agreed that he was still quite young but wisdom would come with age and in Ashiel's opinion with practice. He was eager to get started but he supposed that was one of his flaws. He was impatient when it came to achieving his goals. He knew he had to be careful not to let it bite him in the rear but at the same time he didn't want to let strong convictions sit by the way side. For all he knew this was the fallen god's doing.

Ashiel grinned as Razi stated she would accept when the time came. That was part of Ashiel's strategy. To surround himself with wise and strong members of his family to help mold and shape him into the kind of leader the clan needed. The continued walking, Razi slowing down as she considered his question. Ashiel slowed as well to match her pace. Confidence was the first thing she noted and she warned him of the dangers of overconfidence. Sound judgement was next and that was something to be gained through experience. He knew he'd have to expect some rough moments as he was learning. He grinned as she mentioned talking to the leaders of Boreas and even running hypothetical situations before them. "Yes, that sounds like a good plan. Not long ago I spoke with the alpha of Talis and learned several things that have gotten my mind turning. What sorts of hypothetical situations do you think would be good to ask about? I'm guessing things along the lines of diplomacy and inter-pack relations would be good?"

Her next thought was that a leader should be personable and have good working relationships with the ranks below him. That could get tricky. Ashiel had a tendency to be reserved and distant, even with his family. He could only imagine the problem expounding itself when it came to potential mortal members. Ashiel made a note to try and work on his social skills while he was out exploring.

The next note of importance was creating cohesion and good communication within the pack. That would also be tricky and would require experience. Ashiel's family was headstrong and full of strong personalities. Working them into a cohesive unit would be a challenge and was something he'd always admired about his uncle. Strength. At this Ashiel nodded. This one he could understand. Having the physical and mental fortitude to be a force and to back up his words.

"Your answer is more than I hoped for Razi and very insightful. Thank you! If you like I wouldn't mind you running a few scenarios past me and seeing how I deal with them."
