Holy shit! The floor of the valley was glittering like an acid trip. Skidding down the incline, she found her claws clicking against the hard surface of the ground. That was bizarre to the extreme. Veins of shimmering colours ran through the stone, untouchable but magnificent. Head low to the ground, she tracked along the old riverbed. What had caused this? It was absolutely amazing, and she couldn't look away from it. The milky stone underfoot had a soft, reflective quality to it. Just a little, enough that her shadow was more of a mirror.

A few prods from her forepaw, and the stone scratched just slightly. Oh, this was amazing. Did everyone know about this place? No, or they'd all be talking about it. How fucking wild was this? She'd have to come back at night, and see if it looked any different. What if it glowed, or some shit? That would be the coolest thing in the world. Maybe the north wasn't such a barren shithole after all.
