Live forever?

It was still early afternoon with the sun shining through the canopy of leaves that hung over her. She had found a soft pillow-like den to nest in for the night and had found it so comfortable that the sun hadn't even woke her. She shifted slightly to look out of the easy hole that stood between her and the outside world. The spring feeling was surely kicking in the door as winter's breath seemed to draw back in until next year. Her black coat blended in perfectly with the shadows of her nest but sadly the rumbling of her stomach would give her away no doubt. Rylee was slowly uncurling her limbs and pushing to her feet when a scent drifted past her nose, Then a sound in her ears. A rabbit was scurrying around outside.
The she-wolf waited, her scent was strong all over this den and she was sure that it would notice long before getting even an inch of the door, but the sound kept getting closer. It was a soft pitter-patter in the old grass that the melted snow had left behind. Then it would stop and munch on something. This was something she knew all to well to indicate that lunch was served. Slowly the black fae poked her head out and saw the little black and white rabbit. Its back was turned to her but it was still way to close to sneak up on it. The only choice she had this moment was to pounce and pray that she was quick enough to catch it.
Her paws dug into the soil beneath them getting ready for the leap she would have to make. Her shoulders and back aligning to ensure that the roof of her den would not cause her to falter and her hips scrunched to give her that strength to make it all the way across the clearing. Then she did it, Her paws pushing off all at the same time and her body springing forward like she was just shot out of a cannon. The only thing she thought she could have done better was making no noise at all. Instead her paws made a very loud scatter of leaves as she left her designated area and sprayed mud everywhere. The rabbit hearing this sprung forward only to get its leg stuck in her jaws.
After a bit of a struggle and a nasty scratch under her eye, Rylee finally had her meal. Her jaws crunching eagerly through the flesh of her prey and gulping down all that she could. Blood coated the air around her easily and probably spread out a bit but she didn't care. She had searched this place last night and no scents had been here for a while. So as per usual she continued to feast with no cares in the world.

May seem aggressive but is a scary-cat.
