Winter had come and gone and her last sighting of her friend had been brief. Still she remained in the same area still hoping that he would return soon. She didn't want to leave this place, fearing that he may feel that she had abandoned him and she couldn't do that, but the adventurous healer needed to travel to gather her herb supplies, even though her supplies were barely touched. She tried to remain positive despite how she felt. She had doubt growing in her mind, but she did everything to push it back. She had thoughts that he may turn out like her adoptive father and never return. Again she was pushing those thoughts away and instead fed off of the hope she had left. She had tried to occupy her time which also helped her out. She really wanted to find other lone healers to expand her knowledge, but again she feared traveling to far from the place they had settled in seasons ago.
Today was no different and she had been doing her best keeping busy since she had woke up. She at first started upstairs in the barn getting her bed cleaned up and re-bedded. Then she moved outside at the one side of the barn taking her herb seeds and planting them in the ground, hoping to get a small garden going since she didn't see her leaving this area anytime soon. Then she headed out towards the borders, grabbing herself a rabbit for lunch and lounging around for a bit. As it grew late in the day she decided to head back to the barn so she could sit by the entrance and watch the sunset.
So on she traveled her tail held level with her body and her body language remained happy. What she didn't realize was another was lurking and that she passed through the exact area he was watching as she made her way back to her home. She soon made it back to the barn and settled onto her haunches at the barn door.
