Darya plodded unhappily after her bigger sibling. She didn't like this one as much as the white and black one... This one was rude to them all the time. Better than the fat smelly one but this one kept calling her mean names. Still when she spoke of an adventure the girl perked. She liked adventure! Especially ones organized by Da, Da was a good adventurer!

"Like adventure!" She exclaimed, her tongue tripping over the unfamiliar language all the bigger ones spoke. That was another thing! Why didn't any of them speak right? They all refused to talk in words she understood well, instead forcing her to learn their strange, not fun language!

Her sister easily maneuvered a climb that even at her age Darya was fairly certain she wasn't going to be able to make. The child looked up pathetically at her sister, plopping down on her haunches and whining. Why were all the big ones mean?
