...when Kaitlyn came back she was going to be in for a rather… unpleasant surprise.

Proxy on the other hand was in a pleasant mood. It was as she had told the male who thought he might be able to save Kait; he couldn’t save her. But would he try to defy her fate anyway? One wolf alone to watch her… that certainly wouldn’t be enough. Enough to keep her and Mad at bay. Her fear was too strong… and Gods did it taste divine.

...but the real question was, would the Demon King have made his way back North? Proxy licked her lips. How delicious would that be..? To take their little Kait and throw her back into the very jaws that promised her nothing short of suffering and death last time she’d seen them.

Did Proxy want Kait to die? Not necessarily. She just liked to gamble. Could she bring Kait back into the demonic’s king’s good graces. Ah but that might make Kait’s savior sad, wouldn’t it? But the possible battle… surely even Mad could get a kick from that, no?

...and if he didn’t come to save her?
