Something's Getting In The Way

Location: Illusions Oasis
Somehow she managed to get up, not for her but for her daughter. It hadn't been long so the little amount of weight she lost wasn't too noticeable but she sure did look like crap. Her thin and feminine frame usually beautiful but now her fur was a little rough and she was weak and looked tired. Why did this have to happen to her?  What had she done wrong?

She sat down in the sandy and in some places grassy bank around the small oasis. Looking down at her reflection and not seeing anything worth while. Her tears had been long dried up and maybe she were even growing numb. Deep in her mind she knew she would get over this but the depression was hiding it. One day she would. One day she could pick herself back up again and care for her daughter.
