Smoldering Remains

sorry for shortness x:
The ebony fiend stood, his tail lifted a tad and his body rigid with seeming alertness. He watched intently, and was gifted a quite positive reaction ? an unusual thing, for he?d discovered over time that few wolves had patience for his behavior, even just seconds of it. He grinned broadly, an odd gesture that eagerly flashed each tooth that he had. Company. He liked company. The stranger questioned about being lost, and Caesar?s grin remained, his tail swishing slightly. ?Caesar?s where he wants to be,? he chirped with lively tones. But the stranger must not have been.
A few springing steps took him in a slight arc to the right, edging a tad closer to the other. Moonlight glinted off of the stranger?s eyes ? red. The imp inhaled faintly, his stare locked to the other?s with cold interest. His grin sank to a more reserved, twisted simper, and he commented aloud, ?His eyes are red. Like blood. Is there blood in them?? Vahva had red eyes too, and her blue mane. This wolf just had red eyes, but that was nice on its own. This guy had purely monochromatic fur, from what the gremlin could tell. Silvers and grays and blacks, just like the ash. ?Did he come from the forest?? he added his suddenly sprouted second inquiry, curious. Maybe this creature spawned from the ash, like some sort of phoenix.
