Gonna open the door to the in-between

Following the flow of the creek a while, Razi'd scaled the massive beaver dam to watch the creatures slap the water with their large flat tails when they noticed the wolf staring them down. With a flick of her tail she would make her way to the grove of aspen trees, weaving through the striped trunks at a leisurely pace. Birds chirped softly overhead, darting between branches as the ebony and gold woman strode past. Sighing contentedly Razi took the opportunity to enjoy a moment of peace.

Coming to the edge of the little aspen forest where it overlooked the grassy floodplain, the dark woman let herself slide to the ground, sprawling out and letting her chin rest on the ground as her limbs stretched comfortably. It was nice to enjoy a moment to herself again. She knew that she'd need to begin stepping up her activity soon, but her inner recluse needed one last day to recline and enjoy some solitude.

Gold eyes that had slide shut now opened to peer at some interesting looking deer that were grazing on the flood plain. They had odd markings and we're smaller than normal. Razi was quite content to watch them step gracefully through the grass, munching as they went.
