Come and play

He didn't have to wait long for someone to arrive, which he was glad for. He wasn't exactly feeling patient, but then again, was he ever? The sleek brute lived life in the fast lane and he didn't have time for any stalling, especially now that he was counting down the seasons he had left. Not that he was old and decrepit, but he knew he was slipping out of his prime. He eyed the approaching male with his singular blue orb, wondering why the younger man seemed to hesitate for a split second. Was it fear? He narrowed his eye. No, it was something else, like the man had seen a ghost, but then came to his senses quickly. Perking his ears forward when the man finally spoke, Ehrgeiz began to grin as he watched the brute's brilliant blue eyes sizing him up. His would-be opponent was certainly a handsome specimen, so Ehrgeiz didn't mind being looked over, even if the male's intent was only for the purpose of a fight.
"I'm the one," he assured the brute with a nod, grinning widely, "My name's Ehrgeiz. Like what you see?" His gaze sifted over the drake's stunning, muscular frame, before looking back to his face. Ehrgeiz followed suit as his opponent began to ready himself for a fight, lowering his center of gravity, shifting his paws apart so that his weight was evenly distributed. Shoulders rolled forward and nails bit into the ground for traction. But his tail, it swayed slowly back and forth behind him as he eyed the brute. "Go ahead, the first move's yours," he offered, something he didn't do often, but it had been quite some time since he'd come across someone who's face he didn't want to maim, "Beauties first." Now the male might either be flattered, or irritated enough to make the first move; Ehrgeiz was ready to begin, either way.
