Festivals and parties!

Hey it's Denny! Alright so if you've been actively stalking my shiz, which is unlikely, you know about my brainchildren. If not, here's the lowdown.

Basically the Lunashka clan is, despite the serious exterior that a lot of them have, a bunch of partiers. They have parties over the littlest shit. They're also gonna be hopefully contracting some helpers to keep those parties in business. Thanks to Olya, the shaman lady, these will be coming into being. They're going to be open to all, and sort of like "meet the neighbours" kind of events. If you wanna show up, feel free, if you aren't feeling it, come to the next one!

Festival of Lelia:
The spring festival! It happens at night, in a place.. of some kind. Depends on the year, the weather, whatnot. It happens at night, and the day before a young maiden is selected by Lelia through the shaman to be her physical manifestation for the rest of the day. There's lots of fruits and young animals for food, and a whole lot of booze if you can find it. The maiden takes a seat of honor, and everyone parties the night away to welcome in the spring season.

Festival of Puruvit:
The summer festival! Lots of sparring and healing trials will happen here, as summer is a time of plenty. The number five will be very prevalent, since Puruvit has five heads. Five rounds of spars/five kinds of food/etc. This festival and the fall festival have the most drinking, and basically if you're not drunk you're not having a good time. Wanna get high? Yeah go for it!

Festival of Karevit:
The autumn festival! This one has lots of trading and lots of pack business. Usually this is where loyalties and bonds are reaffirmed for the coming winter. Usually this one is the largest of the gatherings, since there is a crapton of food about to go to waste with winter around the corner. Stockpiles are added to, more packs might find members at the festival, etc. A time to air grievances, so they don't fester during the cold months. The number seven is prevalent, due to Karevit's seven heads.

Festival of Marzanna:
You guessed it, the winter festival! This one is the clan's most important, since they are a northern people. There are many hunting games, with prizes meant to be shared. The dead are often honoured in some way, since Marzanna is also the goddess of death. There's a big bonfire for everyone to gather around, so that the cold can be forgotten if only briefly.

With the biggest out of the way, there's a few more that happen with more frequency/less fancy crap. Weddings, funerals, births, etc. are always a big old party, that goes without saying.

Celebration of Ursula:
Every full moon, the clan gathers to spend the night with general drinking and merriment. There's dancing, storytelling, you name it! No one really sleeps, and they pay homage to their mother deity. Anyone is welcome, as long as they aren't about to start any trouble. It's meant to be a happy time, where you can hang out with some friends and reminisce about the good times. Sometimes the whole clan sits together, but more often than not everyone breaks off into their own little friend groups and hangs out for the night. The next day is generally a slow one, where everyone is napping and dealing with a hangover.

Rites of Rebirth:
While the first half of the rite is closed to outsiders, once the children have undergone their bond and the shaman decrees the first half to be over, it's time to party. Anyone can roll up with some booze or some food and they'll celebrate the next generation for at least the rest of the day.
