One Way Street

Well, now that spring was here and the north wouldn't be so damn cold he figured now was as good a time as any to go explore it. He had hung around the south and east plenty, but the north was still a little of a mystery. The further north he got the more he was reminded of why it was still such a mystery to him. There was one key reason why he had quickly retreated back to the east the last time here was here. He hated being cold. Even with the spring weather firmly in place it was still chilly and there was still snow around. Well, this was turning out to be a terrible idea. But, he was stubborn and he plowed ahead none of the less. The terrain around him started getting more and more mountainous until he realized that he was literally in a mountain pass. He looked around at the steep cliffs and rocks around him as he walked, his gaze tipped upward for the most part. He whistled softly under his breath at how tall and big everything seemed. He was much more used to flat land and hills instead of mountains. Well, at least the scenery was interesting. |
