Finders keepers, losers weepers

Finding out that Miach had made it home gave Zuriel some kind of renewed hope that she might find Kane one of these days. That hope was still hard to come by even with one son back at home. Kane had disappeared first so it felt hard to believe that so much time would pass for him to just reappear. That didn't stop her from going out to look for signs of him periodically. She tried to investigate a new area of Boreas every time she went on these missions, if you could even call them that, but she also didn't want to venture too terribly far from Lirim.

She padded through this virtual grave yard of bits and pieces of things long since forgotten, careful not to slice her paw on one of the many pieces of metal laying around. Most of it was half buried or piled up with other things. Everything was quiet and the sun was just beginning to set which gave the area an oddly eerie feel. Her ears flicked and she turned back toward home. Nothing good came out of being out alone at night. She knew that all too well.
