snapping teeth

His teeth begin to gleam, not with any sort of malice, but with the excitement of someone new nearby. The birds' trills aren't quite yet forgotten, however, as the smile disappears with an irritated yip and a backwards flicker of his ears. Truly, Itzal's very look seems to completely contradict his behavior... A hop from paw to paw only seems to accentuate that fact as he marches impatiently in place. Whoever this newcomer is, he'd better help him shut up these birds! "Your voice is much less annoying than the birds! Of course it's the birds! You're not tasty, anyway!" He sounds rather offended by the prospect of even eating another wolf, but the idea lodges into his head like a worm on carrion. Would another wolf be tasty? "Itzal's palate isn't refined for animals of every kind..." There's a clear disconnect between the way Itzal speaks and the lexicon that tumbles from his hungry maw. It's as disjointed as his movements, which range from agitated twitches to languid pauses. He stays in such a pause for now, head angled towards the other wolf with the dual colored eyes -- he hadn't noticed! "Ruby-sapphire." Okay, apparently Ruby-sapphire is this wolf's new name, whether he knows it yet or not. His jaw breaks open into an excited, gaping grin, drool starting to hang chaotically from black lips. "Ruby-sapphire will help Itzal with the birds!" A rather bold demand, but he seems to mean no malice behind it -- in fact, he's even more excited, his vexation from the feathered fiends will soon be null! |
