Ahhhh, this was great. Just what she needed after a hellish hike. The coolness of the water was almost enough to chill her; Sindre could feel her skin prickling as it tried to decide whether or not to cover her in goosebumps. Really, this was perfect. Now all she needed was a big hunky guy to stroll up with a rabbit and strike up a conversation. On second thought, the hunk and the hare could come in later. It was nap time. She scooted closer to the edge of the pool so she could rest her chin on dry ground. A shout - her name? - split the air. Sindre's eyes snapped open just in time to see a dark shape loom over her. She started to rise, but before she could, the man enveloped her in a bear hug. The blur that had raced towards her had looked familiar. Those eyes, that white mask... Her eyes widened as it clicked. In disbelief she asked, "Domari?" Already knowing it to be true, she relaxed into his embrace. He was smothering her in fur so she wasn't sure where to aim, so Sindre haphazardly peppered his neck in kisses. She hadn't seen her baby brother in years! |
