He heard the howl, but he felt he didn't have the energy to go. His depression had him in its grip for so long, his life had just kept spiraling away from him and he had no idea how to get out of it or stop it. Closing his eyes, he lay there in his den and sighed, disappointed in himself even more for feeling like he was letting his pack down. Whining, he covered his muzzle with a scrawny paw and just...stayed there. But it didn't take long before he heard foot steps outside of his den, and soon a rough voice commanding him to get the hell up! Confused, he scrambled to his feet and came out of his den only to come face to face with Zell. Wide eyed, Rin could only stand there frozen as Zell practically chewed him out. Before he knew it, he was following the man to the meeting, and there wasn't a word he could think of to say right now. When they arrived, Rin sat among the group still shocked.
