She sighed softly into the plush grey fur of the male she had killed, the skin had dried and been properly preserved, the black, grey and white of her decorative throw kept her eyes busy while Lucifer paced incessantly by the door. Something had him furious, so she stayed silent and watching, wondering what had fouled his mood so much. She could only guess that Kait had duped him yet again, he had told her of the woman's return though she couldn't do anything about it. Vianni wanted her throat, but she wouldn't risk the lives she carried within her, they meant too much to her. When her mate came to her and wrapped himself around her, she knew it was somewhat safe to speak. Still, she gave him time to tell her what was bothering him, remaining silent and curious.

Vianni gave a soft purr at his teeth clicking against her skin, laying against him on her side so that she could reach his chest. Burying her nose into his fur, Vianni wrapped her rounded body around her larger mate and allowed him to feel the lives within her. They were strong already and kicked against his shoulder where her stomach rested as if they already knew their father's touch. She let a small smile curve her lips and nibbled her way up his chest to his cheek. "Won't be long now, my love. Whatever has your mood so foul, let me ease it." She still hadn't forgiven him for bringing Kaitlyn back, but she wasn't foolish enough to keep herself from him when his mood was so bad. Maybe that was what had him so angry, Kait was good at pissing Lucifer off, but she was a damned professional when it came to raising Vianni's ire. If Lucifer told Vianni anything to do with Kait that had made him this angry, she would personally raise hell to find the bitch. The next time Vi saw the woman, the little wench would be dead. Lucifer could punish her however he wanted to, she was passed caring. Especially since the bitch came back.
