With the battle over Ashiel tended to his wounds and took to resting in his den for a few days as he set the wheels in his mind turning. In time he grew restless and emerged from his den to look over the territory of his fallen enemy even though he had no intention of reclaiming it. He knew Dragon planned to rebuild, likely in the same spot, but he didn't particularly care. He had an opportunity to further explore the territory and expand his knowledge of the territory even more. It was a lovely summer day and as he strolled into the courtyard he caught the familiar scent of his mother. Grinning he sought her out. "I should've guessed you'd be here." |
