Finders keepers, losers weepers

Now that they were settling into Abaven Caelum felt more comfortable going out and exploring parts of Boreas periodically. Sometimes she took Caelestis with her if she felt up for it, but this time she'd opted to go out alone and do a little solo adventuring. It was good to get out and enjoy some alone time, without being asked for fighting lessons or to go with to find treasure or a million other questions. She loved Caelestis dearly, but sometimes she wondered if any of her other kids had been so wild and energetic. She didn't think so.
Coming to stand on a patch of barren earth between several large metal objects that loomed above her head, Caelum regarded them curiously. They didn't smell like much of anything, but she wondered what it was they were supposed to do. Nothing, now, she supposed.
Catching movement to her left Cae turned and saw a pretty darker woman with lovely blue eyes darker than her own. Offering up a warm smile she called, "Hello there." Tail wagging slightly, she hoped to ease the nervousness thought she sensed from the other woman.
