Bright Morning Stars [Monster]

Dark form lumbering over the stones, he was a shadow in the dappled light of morning. Coming to crouch atop one of the many large boulders that littered the landscape, Czernobog gazed out through narrowed golden eyes. He'd restored his paint recently, jagged lines trailing over his face, shoulders, and wrists. Why he bothered to continue wearing it after severing all ties with his past was... difficult to pinpoint. Mostly, it was force of habit now. He would feel strange without it, so the titan would maintain the red marks as long as he felt like it.
Movement in several places caught his attention and drew him out from his thoughts. In the far distance, the shapes of what he figured were prey animals moved with relaxed paces, trailing along through the territory without concern. It made him notice the feeling of hunger in the pit of his stomach. The other faint motion? That drew his eye and held it. A small, multicolored shape. What was it? It looked like... a child?
Sliding to the ground and approaching at a meandering walk, he would let his tail fan the air a few times in an effort to appear less intimidating than he apparently had the last time he met young children. A smirk tugged at his features as he followed her gaze, rumbling warmly, "Looking for a meal? Or just curious?"
