OOC: Well nevermind, noticed he was inactive too late, good job me
The brown and white man was also stalking the deer from afar, crouching low and eyeing the herd as he slipped through the grass and did his best to remain invisible. He'd partially circled around them, keeping himself where they wouldn't catch his scent. Silver eyes studied the animals, looking for any particular weaknesses that would make one an especially easy target. He'd been considering focusing on one of the older does, but the cough he noticed from one of the young ones had him contemplating changing his mind. Illness made for an easier kill.
He was contemplating the best path for approach when he spotted a stranger far to his right. Normally the idea of attempting to work with others was a bit... daunting, to say the least. However, Lerato's stomach urged him to reconsider his stance until he finally gave in and slowly made his way towards the other wolf. Loud enough for the other male to hear, but not so much that the prey would be scared off.
"Interested in some teamwork?" he asked tentatively, words coming out clearer than usual since he was trying to be quiet and could speak slowly and carefully without seeming odd.
