I don't wanna wake it up

Hey, it wasn't her fault she liked the night so much! In her opinion (which wasn't worth very much), it was very much her mom's fault. Why wouldn't her mom be active at night? Night was so much fun! But now - uuugh. She didn't want to be awake. She didn't want to see the daylight. It needed to go away - that instant. It was gross, and bright, and ew. And she didn't want to move around again; they kept moving and moving and it wasn't any fun just walking all day. It was very, very boring and she was not a fan.
In fact, she was a fan of trying to climb a tree again and making mom try to fetch her, but with the threat accompanying the get up, it probably wouldn't be the best idea. Lyra wouldn't put it past her mother to actually follow through on that threat.
That being said, it didn't stop her from emitting a long, low whine of protest as she stretched, sharpened claws digging at the ground. "But mooooom," she pleaded. "Just a little while longer here? It's nice here." Okay, maybe it wasn't the nicest. Too bright, but the sights were pretty and she didn't want to move again.
